Nannochloropsis is a very important species of phytoplankton, as it has a high protein content and lipid composition which essential for the health of your reef.

It is rich in EPA and DHA fatty acids, Microbial proteins, can significantly improve water quality by rapidly intaking excess nutrients and waste products (e.g. ammonia and nitrate).

 It can even help to enhance the coloration of corals and fish, as it is rich in color-enhancing dietary pigments.
